NO on Q

Dear Editor,

Like other Redwood City residents, I am being bombarded with "Yes on Measure Q, Think It Through" leaflets, mailers and door hangers financed by the would-be developer of the Marina Shores Village luxury high-rise mega-complex.

So I thought about it. I thought about 17 skyscrapers up to 240 feet tall as a series of ugly gashes in the Redwood City waterfront. I thought about the hypocrisy of evicting hundreds of live-aboard marina residents in order to build luxury condominiums in the name of "affordable housing." I thought, who are they trying to kid?

Measure Q?

No, thank you.

I've thought it through.

Charleen Bunjiovianna
